OPERATIONS MANAGER
Location: Vancouver, BC / Remote. Must be eligible to work in Canada.
Schedule: Flexible, full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
Compensation: Hourly ($28-$31 per hour dependent on experience).

JOB SUMMARY
Sanctuary is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee our behind-the-scenes. If you have operations management experience, a strong understanding of finance and budgeting, and a passion for efficient workflows, we would like to meet you.
We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for the organization’s overall financial and operations functions. The Operations Manager, under the direction of the Director, Operations or COO will effectively manage the development and directions of the operational team to drive growth, productivity, and a high level of satisfaction among our donors and users.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for day-to-day operations, managing the organization’s HR and Health and Safety, and participating in the creation of annual organizational and program budgets. Working with leadership and board, the role also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, and practices. The Operations Manager directly supervises administrative staff.

JOB SUMMARY
Sanctuary is looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, and motivated individual to join the communications team. The Social Media and Content Specialist will be responsible for managing the social media accounts; writing and editing content; updating and maintaining the website; and reporting on data analytics. The ideal candidate has a passion for cultivating an engaged community online with creative strategies designed to grow our reach and deepen our audience connection; they should have big-picture vision as well as the ability to give attention to small details and ensure alignment with Sanctuary brand and style.
The Social Media and Content Specialist will work in collaboration with the Director, Communications and Manager, Communications on campaigns, as well as with the Graphic Designer, to achieve campaign goals; grow, educate, and connect with our audience; develop audience and donor journeys; and increase Sanctuary’s reach.
